I am a certified AGNP and PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner). I am honored to have now been in the nursing field for over fifteen years. I have always held an interest in the mind and human behavior. Working in the adult outpatient program (PHP) program taught me a lot about the intertwined roles of nursing and social work, as well as allowed me the opportunity to teach coping skill classes (e.g., guided imagery, self-esteem, sleep hygiene, and medication adherence). Serving both private practice and elderly care clients, I specialize in treating ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and dementia.

Why Is Mental Health Important?

  • HIGHER QUALITY OF LIFE — When you improve your mental health, daily life feels more fulfilling, relationships thrive, and personal goals become more achievable.
  • ENHANCED PRODUCTIVITY — A balanced mind leads to sharper concentration, improved decision-making, and increased motivation at work and in personal pursuits.
  • IMPROVED PHYSICAL HEALTH — Mental wellness is directly linked to physical health, reducing the risk and symptoms of conditions like heart disease, chronic pain, and sleep disorders.
  • GREATER EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE — Effective management of stress and emotions helps patients navigate and prepare for life’s challenges with confidence and stability.
  • STRONGER RELATIONSHIPS — Healthy minds foster better communication, deeper connections, and more fulfilling interactions with friends, family, and colleagues.

My psychiatrist was super knowledgeable, and not only did she actually listen to me, but she got me started on a regimen that was perfectly fit for me.
